DESIGNED WITH REFUGEES, BUILT FOR THE WORLD
Kindi was inspired by the need to help Syrian refugee students in Lebanon learn English, an unfamiliar language used widely in the Lebanese school curriculum. With no English speakers at home to practice reading with, we developed Kindi to provide on-demand access to shared-reading experiences through a mobile device. We are now sharing Kindi with the world so that more people can get value out of what we’ve built, and what’s coming next.
